Annual Pastoral Appeal 2008

The Annual Pastoral Appeal provides us the opportunity to share our blessings with others throughout our Diocese. Please respond as generously as possible when you receive your request from Bishop Lynch asking for your gift to the Annual Pastoral Appeal.

The Annual Pastoral Appeal gives each Catholic the opportunity to impact the lives of others who are served by the many ministries of the Catholic Church in the Diocese of St. Petersburg.

Through the Annual Pastoral Appeal (APA) parishioners are encouraged to fulfill their Stewardship call by personally committing their time, talent and treasure to their sisters and brothers in Christ.

Here are Light of Christ's

Our parish was assessed: $176,033.00

Think what would have happened if the boy with two fish and five loaves didn't come forward.

What he thought was a small and meaningless gesture turned out to effect thousands!

Funny, we still talk about his generosity today...

WHY MAKE A GIFT?

¨       To demonstrate your spirit of thanks and gratitude to God for all His many gifts to you.

¨       To give thanks to God for your faith, your ability, your health and your family.

¨       To give outward proof of what your Catholic faith means to you through your example of personal sacrifice.

¨       To share the spiritual and temporal blessings that come to those who assist in developing God’s work.

Our Lord Jesus Christ calls on each of us to be generous in thought, word, and deed.  God teachers us that in the measure we give, we also receive.  We need every family to make a commitment to this year’s Annual Pastoral Appeal
