The parish, in early 2006, embarked on a Capital Campaign, based on
stewardship, to raise 1.5 million dollars over a three year period.
There was and is a need to upgrade existing facilities to meet the
demands of the spiritual and physical growth of our faith community.
The Parish Hall is over 30 years old and was in need of the
renovations that were completed this past fall. The Early Childhood
Center (EEC) needs a permanent facility and many parish ministries can
utilize the space that is now occupied by the parish pre-school.
Renovations to the church are also required, new lighting for example.
The time had arrived when the parish was asked to make the leap of
faith and invest in the future of our parish. The initial response is
very heartening and pledges are coming in daily. Faith promise cards
(pledge cards) are available in the church pews and at the rectory for
anyone that now wishes, in the spirit of stewardship, to invest in the
future of our parish.
Frequently Asked
Questions
Q. Can I make
my pledge payments once a week?
A. Yes, however you will only
receive a statement with an envelope once a month. If you would like
to make a payment weekly, simply place it in your own envelope marked
"Capital Campaign" and deposit it in the collection each Sunday. If
you know your Account Number (it will be found on your statement),
please include it on your envelope or check.
Q. When will I begin
to receive statements for my pledge?
A. Statements will be mailed out beginning mid-July. For your
convenience those statements will include an envelope for you to mail
your payment back in.
